Resources / kVA Calculator
kVA ⇄ Amps calculator
Size a transformer from load current, or find full-load amps for a given kVA rating, three-phase and single-phase.
Rule of thumb: size the transformer so your continuous load sits at or below 80% of nameplate kVA, leaving headroom for inrush, growth, and harmonic heating. Harmonic-rich loads (VFDs, IT equipment) may also need a K-factor rating.
Not sure between two sizes? Send us the load list and we'll include a sizing review with your quote.
